I've been very pleasantly surprised by the amount of style that UK students are showing this fall, and it seems to be steadily increasing with each passing day. While great outfits last year were sadly few and far between, this year I've frequently found myself inspired by many an outfit on campus, and I've actually started to look forward to going to class just to see the variety of styles that campus seems to be overflowing with. Case in point: this fabulous lady. Fellow merchandising major, founder and editor-in-chief of Lone Cats (a brand new student run fashion magazine) and my new partner in crime, Madison Elder wins best dressed in my book every single day. She has an innate sense of effortless chic that enables her to look put together, perfectly disheveled, and ridiculously comfortable at all times, which happens to be the exact look I've been striving for (quite unsuccessfully) my entire life. Unfortunately I will probably never master this look, which only leaves me even more awestruck at her sartorial capabilities and never-ending creativity. So if this blog slowly begins to turn into a documentation of Madi's daily outfits, don't be surprised—I just can't help myself. I'm sure you can see why.
